A new three-damage-for-one-mana spell has been born in Magic: The Gathering. Boltwave is no match for Lightning Bolt, but it is a Lava Spike power creep that can affect the Modern, Pioneer, and Standard Metagame, where it, along with other Foundations cards, can lead to Burn in the format!
If there were a bingo of cards and effects that we would see in Foundations, “ Lava Spike with power creep” would certainly not be among them.…
